About the position

The Auction Transportation Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in the Remarketing Department at Element Fleet Management. This position focuses on ensuring efficient transportation of vehicles across the US, maintaining up-to-date inventory, and enhancing customer experience through effective collaboration with internal and external partners. The coordinator will leverage vendor relationships and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics operations and deliver superior service to clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between various departments to identify information needed for vehicle transportation.
• Utilize relationships with transportation vendors to maximize returns while minimizing costs during vehicle transport to auctions.
• Prioritize and manage email communications to meet internal and external business needs.
• Provide oversight to inventory management and collaborate with the Remarketing Sales Team to ensure priorities are met.
• Monitor inventory to identify geographical trends and adjust strategies to enhance customer service.
• Partner with Remarketing Field Managers to ensure efficient transportation and proper check-in of units at auctions.
• Build and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and auction contacts to monitor inventory and represent Element's assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of business experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn specific programs and apps for Element Fleet Management.
