Responsibilities

• Initiate a bond with patients by understanding their unique hearing journeys through comprehensive assessments.
• Conduct a range of audiometric tests tailored to individual needs to enhance their auditory experience.
• Guide patients in making informed choices regarding treatment options such as hearing aids and aural rehabilitation.
• Provide ongoing support for patients, including check-ups and device reprogramming.
• Offer heartfelt counseling to address emotional concerns related to hearing challenges and provide a listening ear.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in audiology and share knowledge with patients.

Requirements

• Doctor of Audiology degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in performing medically relevant diagnostics, including audiometry and immittance testing.
• Proficiency in treatment-focused testing such as speech-in-noise testing and loudness discomfort levels.
• Passion for working with state-of-the-art amplification and assistive technology.
• Ability to improve proficiency with hearing aid dispensing and management, including electroacoustic analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in tinnitus assessment and management.
• Familiarity with aural rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
