About the position

The Autism Clinic Office Receptionist at Building Connections Behavioral Health plays a crucial role in supporting the clinic's operations and providing assistance to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This position involves both clerical duties and direct interaction with clients, ensuring a welcoming environment while also stepping in to support staff and children as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Clerical work at the office.
  • Greeting clients as they arrive.
  • Opening and closing the clinic daily.
  • Ensuring the clinic is clean and tidy.
  • Assist staff, as needed, with children at the clinic.
  • Cover shifts when staff is sick and on vacation, working 1:1 with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Complete daily data collection.
  • Attend team meetings.

Requirements

  • Preferred: 1 year working with children.
  • Preferred: 1 year working as an office assistant.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • People skills.
  • Ability to complete pre-employment and annual on-site training.
  • Must be willing to complete two background checks and provide medical information.
