About the position

The Autism Paraprofessional role at Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education focuses on providing one-on-one Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the autism spectrum. The position emphasizes integrity, creativity, and compassion, offering full training for newcomers and growth opportunities for experienced candidates. The role requires dependability and a positive attitude to help children achieve their goals while working collaboratively with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
• Conduct Discrete Trials, Natural Environment Teaching, and various teaching/reinforcement methods in line with the Behavior Support Plan.
• Work collaboratively with a BCBA to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or College Degree.
• Experience in childcare, healthcare, or mental health preferred (but training is provided).
• Dependability and reliability are crucial for the child's success.
• Integrity to work in the child's home without constant supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
