About the position

The Automotive Account Manager (Actuators) at Sanhua International is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key clients in the automotive sector, focusing on actuator solutions for automation and control systems. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge in actuators and strong sales and account management skills to drive business growth and meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Operationalize strategic priorities and initiatives for projects to achieve business metrics and goals.
  • Collaborate with account teams and work with customers in the sales process.
  • Identify new business opportunities and upsell actuator solutions to existing clients.
  • Lead sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Establish customer and partner relationships to generate new business opportunities.
  • Identify/contact decision-makers, prioritize business opportunities, and lead/facilitate customer-facing pursuits.
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients regarding actuator selection, integration, and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in actuator technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Technical certifications or training in actuators, automation, or related industries is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an account manager, sales engineer, or in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on actuators or related technologies.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in casting/plastic injection/stamping.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing accounts in technical industries.
  • Solid understanding of actuators, including electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and linear actuators, and their applications in automation and control systems.
  • Familiarity with actuator integration in various industries, such as manufacturing, robotics, automotive, or aerospace.
