About the position

The Autonomous Equipment Technician (AGV) is responsible for maintaining all autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles and their controls. This role involves performing inspections, repairs, and diagnostics, as well as supporting the deployment of AGV systems and ensuring compliance with maintenance protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and diagnose autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance as specified by leadership and engineers.
  • Document maintenance records in provided systems.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and repair techniques through training from HQ and engineers.
  • Support leadership decisions and contribute to team success.
  • Support the deployment of AGV systems and commission the equipment.
  • Ensure daily housekeeping is upheld.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • 1+ year manufacturing experience required.
  • Ability to evaluate/diagnose situations and improve or repair equipment.
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as RFID tag readers, diagnostic equipment, and AGV systems.
  • Forklift and Tugger certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Mechatronics or Automotive Technology preferred.
  • A technical Associate's Degree preferred.
