About the position

The Passenger Service Agent position at Trego/Dugan Aviation is a part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer service to passengers using charter services. The agent is responsible for various tasks including ticket processing, baggage handling, and assisting customers with special needs, while ensuring compliance with FAA and airline regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Processing customer tickets and checking baggage.
  • Monitoring carry-on baggage for size and quantity.
  • Assigning seats and providing information on arrival and departure times.
  • Handling denied boarding situations and accommodating customers with vouchers when necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with FAA, airline, and airport regulations.
  • Enforcing safety and security measures.
  • Assisting customers with special needs, including wheelchair assistance.
  • Cleaning and searching aircraft as required.
  • Completing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
  • Must be available to work varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, plus weekends and holidays.
  • Must be well-groomed and physically fit.
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986.
  • Ability to attend required training.
