About the position
The Banking Technical Business Analyst will support ACH and Wire Transfers systems, focusing on requirements gathering, system integration design, and documentation of data flows. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of banking IT systems and requires a strong understanding of business processes and software development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Support ACH and Wire Transfers systems.
- Gather and analyze requirements, breaking down large requests into user stories.
- Design system-to-system integration based on requirements.
- Document data flow and functional scenarios between systems.
- Utilize Agile or agile-variant software development methodologies.
- Understand testing concepts through the software development lifecycle and write test cases and test plans.
- Conduct business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and data modeling.
- Build, write, and execute test cases using technologies such as Azure and Tosca.
- Execute root cause analysis of systems and data issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- 1+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Strong experience with various software development methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall.
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and data modeling.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with payment platforms, particularly Wire and ACH transfers.
- Strong ability to adapt to changes in processes, procedures, and priorities.
