About The Position

The Batching Prep Manager is responsible for overseeing the batching preparation process in a production environment, ensuring timely and high-quality output. This role involves leading and training team members, managing ingredient inventory, and implementing quality control procedures while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Management, or a related field.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve production challenges.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years of experience in a production or batching role within the food, beverage, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics industries.
• Previous experience in team leadership and staff training.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food and beverage production.
• Experience in inventory management and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the batching preparation process to ensure timely and high-quality production.
• Lead, train, and support team members in accordance with standard work practices, GMP, HACCP, and FSSC requirements.
• Coordinate with production staff to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
• Manage ingredient inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
• Implement and uphold quality control procedures to maintain consistent product standards.
• Mentor new employees on batching techniques, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for continuous improvement in production processes.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process optimization and take corrective action as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the production environment.
