About the position

The Behavioral Health Consultant role involves providing intensive behavioral intervention services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays. The position focuses on direct therapy, implementing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring the dignity and confidentiality of clients. The role offers opportunities for professional development and advancement within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans as designed and trained by the supervising BCBA.
• Provide direct therapy in individual and group sessions.
• Complete weekly program writing and maintain client's program book.
• Collect accurate data and graph data as instructed.
• Assist with assessments and maintain client confidentiality.
• Complete and return session notes and other paperwork on time.
• Manage client PHI in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and staff meetings.

Requirements

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
• A minimum of one year's experience working with children with special needs.
• RBT Certification preferred, but training will be provided within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to stand and circulate for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable means of transportation.
• Must pass a criminal history background check.
