About The Position

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Quality Assurance Coordinator at Blue Sea Educational Consulting, Inc. is a part-time role focused on ensuring high standards in behavioral assessments and interventions. This position combines clinical expertise with administrative responsibilities, including supporting evaluators, conducting quality assurance checks, and training staff. The coordinator will work closely with evaluators, management, and school districts to ensure comprehensive assessments are completed effectively.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a master's degree in a related field is required.
  • Must be a current Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) and/or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Prior supervisory experience overseeing a team of ABA staff is preferred.
  • Strong Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and clinical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and preparing high-quality reports.
  • Self-disciplined: Able to schedule and attend to duties as necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Reside in Nassau or Suffolk County.
  • Have your own reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality assurance checks and ensure adherence to standards of care in documentation and reporting.
  • Participate actively in providing professional growth opportunities such as staff trainings and clinical support to the evaluation team.
  • Provide oversight and quality assurance on functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.
  • Ensure integrity of program implementation and evaluation regulations.
  • Monitor timelines and due dates of evaluations.
  • Analyze data and create graphs for visual analysis of data.
  • Develop the behavioral/clinical skill sets for a team of evaluators.
  • Review completed FBA's to ensure written reports are up to standard.
  • Provide feedback on appropriate behavior intervention strategies.
  • Stay updated with best practices in autism care and ABA principles.
