About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and developing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to enhance the quality of life for those we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide training and support to staff and caregivers in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within various settings, including schools, homes, and community environments.

Requirements

  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and patient assessment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation practices and data collection methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
