As a Body Shop Technician II at Penske, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures and collision repairs on trucks and trailers. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures and truck and trailer collision repairs.
• Conduct major suspension, electrical, painting, and welding repairs under supervision.
• Overhaul, adjust, replace, and repair various truck and trailer equipment.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
• Perform all levels of Truck Collision Repair services.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair orders.
• Maintain work area appearance and safety standards.
• Road test vehicles when necessary.
• Complete assigned projects and tasks from the supervisor.

Requirements

• 6 years of practical experience or equivalent education and experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical school preferred.
• Specialized training in the repair/refinish of trucks and trailers required.
• Proficiency in using tools of the trade, including welding and paint equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with DOT and OSHA regulations.
