About the position
The Bridge Deck Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing bridge deck projects within a heavy highway construction company. This role involves planning, scheduling, budget management, communication with stakeholders, risk management, quality control, leadership of the project team, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring safety standards are met. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage complex projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Create project plans and schedules, determining timelines and resource requirements.
- Manage the project budget, including monitoring expenses and forecasting costs.
- Communicate regularly with the project team, stakeholders, and clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the project meets all quality standards and complies with industry regulations.
- Lead the project team, including hiring, training, and motivating team members.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and that team members are trained on safety procedures.
Requirements
