Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs.
• Provide detailed information about various strains, products, and their effects.
• Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products.
• Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on proper usage.
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting regular inventory counts.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is essential.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
• A baseline knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, is required; extra training will be provided as needed.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
