About the position

UST is seeking a Business Analyst for full-time employment who will apply system analysis techniques to analyze requirements, system capabilities, workflows, and functional limitations. The role involves using analytics and judgment to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex problems, while working independently to define, test, and implement project functional requirements. The Business Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert on projects, ensuring requirements traceability and establishing effective requirements practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, system capabilities, workflows, and functional limitations.
• Use analytics and judgment to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex problems.
• Define, test, and implement project functional requirements independently.
• Design and execute functional test procedures.
• Create software requirements artifacts and deliverables.
• Serve as subject matter expert on projects to answer business questions impacting strategic priorities.
• Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project.
• Define software quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements.
• Establish and implement effective requirements practices, such as change control processes.
• Elicit requirements using various techniques including interviews, document analysis, and workshops.
• Prepare status report updates on the progress of assigned tasks.
• Contribute to written and verbal communication in and out of the client.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Foreign Equivalent Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, CIS, Engineering, or related field.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Business Analyst or related occupation, including Global Delivery model experience.
• Ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to all levels.
