About the position
The Business Development Manager at Express Employment Professionals is responsible for driving sales and developing business opportunities within Desoto County, MS. This role focuses on engaging with key decision-makers, generating new client relationships, and utilizing consultative selling techniques to meet sales goals. The position offers a structured yet creative work environment, with strong support and training to ensure success.
Responsibilities
- Generate a sufficiently high level of sales activity to secure a minimum of two new clients per week.
- Develop a sales action plan for each prospect on the top 20 hit list.
- Prepare and execute a daily sales plan to maximize territory management.
- Use a total client care sales approach to present full-service capabilities.
- Effectively work with and communicate with the internal team.
- Make a combination of 100 sales calls weekly, including phone and in-person visits, which include 60 face-to-face decision-maker calls.
Requirements
- Must have staffing experience.
- 5 years of experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
- Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through the generation of leads.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong sales experience.
