About the position

Darigold is seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join their team. The role focuses on transforming data into actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making. The analyst will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure, create data visualizations, and support the implementation of BI solutions. Collaboration with IT data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders is essential to ensure data accessibility and reliability, ultimately supporting enterprise-level analytics and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models, to support business objectives.
  • Participate in the design and development of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or lakes.
  • Build and optimize data models to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to data architecture, data pipelines, and data models.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data engineering practices and tools.
  • Participate in the analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
  • Present complex data findings in a clear and actionable format to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through regular audits and validation processes.
  • Lead data-driven projects and initiatives, offering strategic recommendations based on analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, data management, data analytics, or related field.
  • Proficiency in BI tools with emphasis on Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
