About the position

The Business Office Supervisor at Las Vegas Sahara plays a crucial role in coordinating daily operations for the front office, ensuring efficient scheduling, patient registration, and financial transactions. This position is integral to maintaining the quality of patient interactions and supporting the overall mission of HCA Healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate business office employee schedules daily to ensure that assigned areas are staffed.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of chart preparation, data entry, and pre-certification as required by insurance plans and collections.
  • Reconcile daily front office collections.
  • Work with the nurse manager and/or nurse coordinator to ensure the daily schedule is streamlined.
  • Maintain a blocked schedule list.
  • Responsible for opening and/or closing procedures of the facility based on hours worked.
  • Maintain a log for the center front desk petty cash fund.
  • Serve as backup for business office positions when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum (2) years of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred (i.e. ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctor's office).
  • Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • BLS may be required as per facility standard.
