Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ applications, specifically focused on game-engine-like features.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software.
  • Implement core systems for 3D scene navigation, rendering pipelines, and live video-to-3D transformations.
  • Debug, profile, and optimize code to ensure real-time performance and stability.
  • Work with multi-threaded and real-time systems, ensuring smooth performance under production conditions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in game engines, C++ advancements, and real-time video rendering.
  • Provide technical input and support during the entire software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in C++ software development.
  • Demonstrated experience in building game engines, real-time rendering systems, or complex interactive software.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software architecture.
  • Experience with real-time video processing, graphics APIs (e.g., OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan), and 3D rendering pipelines.
  • Familiarity with multi-threaded programming, optimization, and debugging tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity Engine, or similar game engine frameworks.
  • Knowledge of real-time video capture, streaming technologies, or computer vision techniques.
  • Experience with tools like Visual Studio, CMake, Git, or Perforce.
  • Familiarity with Windows desktop application development.
