About the position

The Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA) position at SYNERGY HomeCare of Broomall involves providing personal care and companionship to clients in the Mainline and Delaware County regions. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care as specified by the written care plan and assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide companionship for the client, including talking, listening, reading aloud, and offering social and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties.
• Prepare and serve meals as requested.
• Accompany clients on walks, doctor's visits, and other errands.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports to accurately record the care provided.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Evidence of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test or 2 step PPD.
• Pass a national criminal background check, State of PA, and Childline Background.
• First aid & CPR certification by hire date.
• Personal care experience in a work setting.
