Responsibilities

• Provides/assists patients in personal care while preserving dignity and autonomy.
• Contributes to the patient care plan considering physical, emotional, and social factors.
• Rooms patients, obtains vital signs, and documents appropriately.
• Completes clinical reminder screenings as indicated.
• Organizes and prioritizes nursing care activities.
• Administers medications according to the '5 Rights.'
• Observes and reports significant changes in patients' conditions.
• Responds appropriately to emergency situations.
• Performs wound care and dressing changes as assigned.
• Provides emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Graduation from an approved school of practical or vocational nursing.
• Active, full, current, and unrestricted licensure as a Graduate Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse.
• Ability to perform nursing duties under supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• Two years of LVN/LPN experience.
