About the position

The Client Representative / Personal Banker role at BankFinancial focuses on building customer relationships and promoting bank products and services. The position aims to meet the bank's business objectives by cross-selling and increasing market share while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include account management, customer inquiries, and participation in community events.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and recognize opportunities for referrals to internal departments.
• Meet and exceed established sales goals by identifying customer needs and offering appropriate products and services.
• Open, maintain, and close deposit accounts, including IRA products and safe deposit boxes.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Participate in branch calling campaigns and complete assigned quality customer calls.
• Engage in community events and represent the bank in various capacities.
• Perform teller responsibilities, including accepting deposits and processing transactions.
• Manage the daily activities of the safe deposit vault area.
• Attend scheduled branch sales and operational meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of previous banking or teller experience.
• Strong understanding of bank products and services.
• Previous sales experience.
