About the position

The Client Service Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the firm's administrative tasks and enhancing client relationships. This position involves assisting in the onboarding process for clients, providing client service, and maintaining account information. The associate acts as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and coordination between clients and the advisory team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first line of communication with clients via telephone or email.
  • Process service requests including fund disbursements and account transfers.
  • Act as a liaison for service needs between home office, advisors, team, and clients.
  • File and log appropriate correspondence and forms.
  • Correspond with clients in a professional manner while gathering information.
  • Coordinate paperwork for transfers from outside firms.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to positively impact the productivity of the firm.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance in all actions taken through the role.

Requirements

  • Some experience in wealth management, financial planning, or related fields.
  • Ability to communicate with clients using empathy and care.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, and flexibility and adaptability to move with changes in client situations.
