About the position

The Clinic Director for the Opioid Treatment Program at Madison East Comprehensive Treatment Center is responsible for the overall management and operation of the clinic. This role involves developing and implementing strategic business plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high-quality treatment services for patients with Opioid Use Disorder. The Clinic Director will also oversee staff training and development, manage budgets, and serve as a community liaison.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the clinic's strategic business plan and annual operating budget in conjunction with regional leadership.
  • Manage clinic services and resources to meet operational and financial objectives.
  • Exercise final authority over daily operations and collaborate with the Medical Director on clinical issues.
  • Serve as a community outreach liaison, attending events to educate and establish community contacts.
  • Develop and implement clinic policies and procedures, including public affairs and community relations.
  • Deliver treatment services and submit required protocols and reports to state and federal departments.
  • Manage personnel, including performance evaluations and hiring/firing decisions.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for clinic staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, including corrective action plans.
  • Maintain the security of medications and medical records, ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Conduct risk management assessments and investigations, utilizing data to identify trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social, behavioral, or mental health services from an accredited institution.
  • Experience overseeing services in an outpatient environment, preferably in medication-assisted treatment or addiction.
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) management experience, including budget oversight.
  • Business development experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with multiple payer sources, including Medicare and Medicaid contracts.
  • Previous management experience is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.
