About the position

The Clinical Dietitian position at Mosaic Life Care is a part-time role focused on providing optimal nutritional care to patients. The dietitian will assess patients' nutritional status, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans, and provide nutrition education tailored to individual needs. This role emphasizes the importance of maintaining professional development and participating in quality initiatives within the healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' nutrition status and nutritional needs and complete appropriate and accurate EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with care team to provide enteral or parenteral nutrition support to meet patients' individual nutritional needs/goals.
• Develop, monitor, and revise nutrition care plans as part of interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Provide nutrition education to patients based on individual nutrition and learning needs.
• Participate in process improvement and quality initiatives in department and/or organization and department and facility meetings/committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an ACEND-accredited dietitian program or foreign equivalent.
• Registration through Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; maintain/complete 75 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) every 5 years is required upon hire.
• Licensed Dietitian in the State of Missouri is required upon hire.
