Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC or manual grinders for O/D, I/D, boring, and facing operations.
- Work from blueprints, process sheets, tooling instructions, and standard charts to identify specifications.
- Enter data into the ERP system for tracking and documentation purposes.
- Verify conformance of machined work-pieces using gauges and measuring devices.
- Inspect own work for correct dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
- Compute dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining times as required.
- Inspect the work of other operators when necessary.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating precision grinding machines.
- High school education or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions in English.
- Moderate physical demand, including lifting up to 50lbs and standing for an entire shift.
