About the position

The Companion/Caregiver position involves providing essential assistance and companionship to individuals in their homes or care facilities. Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to individuals in their homes or care facilities
• Remind individuals to take medications following prescribed guidelines
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Drive individuals to appointments or outings as needed
• Collaborate with social workers and healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of the individual

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving, personal care homes, or long-term care settings is preferred
• Understanding of home and community care systems
• Valid Driver's License with auto insurance
