About the position

As a Total Rewards (TR) and HR Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) Compensation Specialist at Intel, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's global corporate development initiatives, including acquisitions and divestitures. This position involves collaborating with various business units to design and implement compensation and benefits programs that align with organizational objectives and provide value to employees. You will leverage your expertise in HR policies and practices to influence and coach managers and employees, ensuring compliance and effective governance of compensation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of compensation and benefits programs based on knowledge of plan features and regulations.
  • Conduct position evaluations and job classifications, assessing the budgetary impact of compensation decisions.
  • Research and analyze competitive compensation and benefits practices in the job market.
  • Assist in the planning and administration of the annual salary review program for staff employees.
  • Ensure compliance and governance of all compensation plans, identifying risks and participating in audits.
  • Design and apply compensation-related tools and resources for managers and employees.
  • Provide consulting support regarding executive compensation issues.
  • Administer Benefits and Retirement programs and manage relationships with external vendors.
  • Coordinate with plan administrators and insurance carriers to design a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Contribute to due diligence efforts during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, ensuring smooth transitions of compensation programs.
  • Handle sensitive employee compensation data while adhering to privacy regulations.
  • Partner with benefits providers to ensure effective delivery of compensation and benefits programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field with 5+ years of HR and/or total rewards experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience.
  • 2+ years of Mergers and Acquisitions experience.
