About The Position

The Project Manager at WestRock Restoration is responsible for overseeing multiple reconstruction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves managing both residential and commercial properties, performing site assessments, and maintaining communication with clients and team members. The Project Manager must have a strong understanding of building components and restoration practices, as well as excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management within the restoration and/or construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and track budgets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of restoration practices, including water and fire damage mitigation, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement processes.
• Familiarity with industry software such as Xactimate and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, including OSHA regulations.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple job sites.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in water damage mitigation, fire cleaning, mold remediation, carpet cleaning, or air duct cleaning.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple reconstruction projects for residential and commercial properties.
• Perform site assessments to evaluate requirements and determine the scope of work.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting for each project.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and timelines.
• Prepare detailed estimates using Xactimate or Excel, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Create and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Lead and supervise project teams, including subcontractors and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with California state regulations and industry standards, including safety policies.
• Oversee relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure quality work.
• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to avoid delays and budget overruns.
• Monitor the quality of work to meet company standards and client expectations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as needed for unforeseen delays.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters for proper documentation and claims submission.
• Ensure job sites are clean and orderly in appearance.
• Provide excellent customer service and transport equipment as needed.
