About the position

The Continuous Quality Improvement & Compliance Specialist is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the organization's continuous quality improvement (CQI) plan and quality initiatives. This role involves compiling data, creating reports and dashboards, developing training materials, supporting CQI activities, and monitoring compliance with various standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Compile data from multiple sources and generate monthly and quarterly data reports on program performance and quality metrics.
  • Monitor and report on quarterly case record review process and collaborate with CQI Team leader for quality improvement recommendations.
  • Design, create, and administer stakeholder surveys, providing results and creating reports with data visualization.
  • Create CQI and compliance training materials and assist in providing training and workshops.
  • Meet quarterly with program CQI Teams to support data interpretation and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in preparation and compliance for Council on Accreditation (COA) and annual licensing reviews.
  • Assist in program review audits, compile results, and create reports with visualization for analysis.
  • Communicate with Program Directors to keep the Catalogue of Measures up to date.
  • Review NCHS policies and procedures for compliance with contracts and accreditation standards.
  • Assist the CQI and Compliance Director in implementing the organization's annual CQI Plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in continuous quality improvement and database management systems.
  • Experience in child welfare or prevention/intervention programming for children and families preferred.
  • Experience with DHHS contracts and reporting.
  • Experience in benchmarking, developing performance dashboards, and data reporting with visualization required.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement principles and methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Power BI is preferred.
  • Knowledge of family functioning, infant-child development, and community resources.
