About the position

The Credit Analyst - Small Ticket position at U.S. Bank involves supporting Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers in managing a portfolio of customer relationships. The role focuses on analyzing financial data, preparing comprehensive written analyses, and ensuring compliance with credit policies. Responsibilities

• Overseeing accurate and consistent financial statement spreads and quarterly trend analyses.
• Preparing quarterly monitoring reports and conducting covenant tests in accordance with bank standards.
• Analyzing financial data and preparing comprehensive written analyses.
• Assisting with industry sector reviews and analyzing portfolio credit quality.
• Assisting Portfolio Managers in preparing and presenting credit requests for Credit Approval.
• Maintaining a compliance monitoring and financial statistic database that tracks credit agreement requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• One to three years of experience in a finance/analytical related role.

• Background in economics, accounting, and/or finance.
• Effective analytical and technical report writing skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently performing financial analyses.
