About the position

The GreenDrop Attendant role is essential for providing exceptional service to donors while supporting the company's mission of eco-friendly donation practices. This part-time position involves direct interaction with donors, assisting them with their donations, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the donation site. The role emphasizes core values such as respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors in a friendly manner while in full GreenDrop uniform.
• Engage in pleasant conversation while acquiring donations from donors.
• Assist donors with unloading their vehicles and organizing donations in the stock room.
• Record donor information using a company iPad.
• Assist truck drivers during donation pick-ups.
• Maintain cleanliness of the site, both inside and outside.
• Fill out supply orders to keep the site stocked with necessary tools for job completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
• Outstanding ability to interact with people and provide excellent service.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs continuously throughout the day.
• Ability to work in outside conditions across different seasons.
• Strong communication skills with donors, co-workers, and management.
• Punctuality and a strong sense of urgency.
