About the position

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction by acting as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to logistics and transportation. This position requires a motivated individual who can handle customer interactions with professionalism and efficiency, while also collaborating with internal teams to provide accurate information and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Assist customers with shipping updates, order tracking, and service-related questions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (warehousing, logistics, and transportation) to provide timely and accurate information to customers.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and status updates in company systems.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth fulfillment and delivery of customer orders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and share feedback with the team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer support is highly desirable.
  • Must be able to communicate with diverse customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information.
