About the position

The Customer Support Representative II at Clopay Corporation is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a call center environment. This role focuses on answering inbound and placing outbound calls to enhance customer satisfaction and retention, while also managing various administrative tasks related to order processing and customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound and place outbound calls in a call center environment to increase business and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle general customer inquiries and problems that are primarily routine or basic in nature.
  • Enter faxed orders and process orders, managing backorders and shortages.
  • Work with scheduling for order changes and run reports as needed.
  • Compile and prepare regular or special reports by selecting data from various sources.
  • Organize and maintain file systems, including correspondence and installer records.
  • Type, prepare, and mail all legal documents and paperwork necessary for compliance and account setup.
  • Support management and Sales Representatives in setting up new customers.
  • Perform basic office functions, including maintaining office equipment and ordering supplies.
  • Maintain databases and system records, updating Master files and other relevant systems.

Requirements

  • High school degree required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of call center/customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills required, with familiarity in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Previous clerical or office experience is beneficial.
