About the position
The Cyber Retail Fraud Intelligence Analyst will conduct research into current and emerging cybercrime threats affecting brand and retail members. This role focuses on providing intelligence analysis to identify threats and quantify vulnerabilities, producing actionable alerts, briefs, and assessments. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders, including other analysts, industry partners, and law enforcement, to enhance brand protection and address fraud issues across industries.
Responsibilities
- Act as dedicated analytical support and NCFTA liaison for a retail member and iconic brand.
- Conduct data collection and research using various tools and applications, including proactive open-source information.
- Produce finished products for dissemination.
- Aggregate data into appropriate organizational systems and datasets.
- Identify credible, new intelligence and subject matter resources related to current and emerging threats.
- Support relationships with NCFTA industry members and law enforcement through briefings, emails, conference calls, and conferences.
- Engage in collaboration with members and peers to seek correlative data across all programs.
- Actively participate in program and member meetings.
- Provide support for training events, including focus group meetings, conferences, and presentations.
Requirements
- Previous experience providing actionable intelligence and concise documentation of analytical findings.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical expertise, attention to detail, critical thinking, and logic.
- Capability to review and evaluate large volumes of data to support strategic, operational, or tactical operations.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in briefing and presenting to audiences of all sizes.
- Proficient in writing intelligence reports.
