About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Hit Promotional Products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role requires proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools, along with a strong understanding of data management processes. The Data Analyst will work closely with various departments to support project management initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools is highly desirable.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is essential.
• Knowledge of statistical programming languages such as R or VBA is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Utilize SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant information for analysis.
• Implement project management methodologies to oversee data-related projects from inception to completion.
• Apply statistical analysis techniques using R or VBA to interpret data sets and forecast future trends.
• Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing insights during the requirements gathering phase.
