About the position

OpTech LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless migration and accuracy of data between systems. Your keen eye for detail and dedication to precision will help maintain the integrity of our data, which is essential for the smooth operation of our business. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for manually transferring data from one system to another, such as migrating information from Excel spreadsheets to databases, ensuring no loss or corruption of data. You will also be tasked with accurately inputting large volumes of data into our systems with a focus on maintaining high levels of precision and completeness. In addition to data entry, you will carefully review and verify the accuracy of data to ensure it is complete and up to date, identifying and correcting any discrepancies. Maintaining organized records of all data entry activities will be essential, ensuring easy retrieval and reference when needed. Collaboration with other team members will be key to ensuring data integrity and resolving any issues that arise during the data migration process. This position requires a high level of proficiency in Excel, including familiarity with formulas, pivot tables, and data validation, as well as strong attention to detail and time management skills. You will need to demonstrate problem-solving abilities to identify issues in data and resolve them promptly, ensuring the highest quality of work.

Responsibilities

  • Manually transfer data from one system to another, ensuring no loss or corruption of data.

Requirements

  • High-level proficiency with Excel, including familiarity with formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
  • Demonstrated ability to focus on detailed tasks and manage large volumes of data without compromising accuracy.
  • Strong ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to identify issues in data and resolve them promptly, ensuring the highest quality of work.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
