About the position

The Delivery Driver position at Rugby Architectural Building Products involves delivering hardwood lumber and sheet stock, doors, and other supplies to customers. This role is essential for ensuring timely and safe delivery while engaging with customers. The position offers a stable work schedule with no weekend work, allowing drivers to be home daily.

Responsibilities

• Use your CDL A license to deliver products to customers.
• Load and unload your truck as needed, depending on the customer.
• Work safely and attend safety meetings, following all safety procedures and policies.
• Occasionally lift heavy products for storage or loading onto the truck.

Requirements

• History of being a truck driver or delivery driver, especially with a Class A CDL.
• Strong physical stamina for the physical demands of the role.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Valid Class A driver's license (CDL A) and medical card.
• Ability to pass drug test, background check, Clearinghouse, and motor vehicle pre-employment screen.
• Must pass a driving test and a physical examination as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
