About The Position

The Registered Dietitian at Monte Nido Virtual Program is a vital member of the clinical team, focusing on providing nutritional care to adults with eating disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. This per diem virtual position requires collaboration with various disciplines to ensure optimal client care, emphasizing a health-at-every-size (HAES) approach and fostering a supportive environment for clients to repair their relationship with food and achieve recovery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related human services field.
• At least one year of experience working in healthcare, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
• Hold appropriate Registered Dietitian credential.
• Must have (or obtain) CPR/BLS certification before starting work.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a virtual healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of eating disorder treatment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Full oversight of meals prepared for clients on campus, ensuring proper documentation.
• Ensure all nutritional services meet established standards and regulations.
• Conduct nutrition assessments of clients and monitor their nutrition intake.
• Participate in the treatment team's development of the Master Treatment Plan.
