About the position

The Director of Talent and Culture will lead the human resources and organizational development efforts of a growing company. This role focuses on driving the people and culture strategy, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent, and fostering an inclusive and high-performing workplace. The director will collaborate with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and promote a culture of innovation and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and plans to support business objectives
  • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and benefits programs
  • Foster a culture of high performance, innovation, accountability and work-life integration
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and ensure fair and equitable treatment of all employees
  • Analyze people metrics and provide insights to optimize processes and policies
  • Manage relationship with HR service providers and vendors
  • Partner with department heads on strategic workforce and succession planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5+ years in a director-level role
  • Strong understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance standards
  • Demonstrated success driving culture transformation and change management initiatives
  • Expertise developing and executing competitive people strategies and programs
  • Proven track record of attracting, retaining and developing top talent
  • Analytical mindset with experience generating data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to advise C-Suite and influence cross-functional partners
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in fast-paced growth environments
  • Proficiency with HRIS/HRMS systems and Microsoft Office suite

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR, SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
