About The Position

The Director of the Office of Sexual Assault Prevention & Response at the Peace Corps is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the agency's sexual assault prevention and response programs. The incumbent will maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Peace Corps' operations and will keep senior management informed about trends, concerns, and best practices related to sexual assault prevention and response services for Volunteers.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FP-2 or GS-14 level in a related field.
• Experience representing an agency on working groups and task forces.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in federal employment or knowledge of federal employment processes.
• Familiarity with the Peace Corps' mission and operations.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Chief of Staff and serve as part of the senior leadership team.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Peace Corps' programs and operations related to sexual assault prevention and response.
• Keep senior management informed of concerns, trends, deficiencies, successes, and best practices regarding the agency's sexual assault prevention and response program.
• Represent the agency on intra-governmental working groups and task forces.
• Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to strengthen the Peace Corps' work in sexual assault prevention and response.
