About the position

The Director, Talent Acquisition at Day & Zimmermann is responsible for executing talent acquisition strategies that align with business objectives. This role involves driving initiatives in executive recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, and employment branding while overseeing the operational aspects of talent acquisition. The director will partner with various stakeholders to enhance recruitment processes and lead a team of talent acquisition professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to drive company-wide Talent Acquisition strategies, policies, processes, and metrics.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Talent Acquisition professionals to support recruitment needs.
  • Manage all aspects of team management including strategy setting, performance management, hiring, coaching, and workload balancing.
  • Lead sourcing and Talent Acquisition for key executive roles.
  • Manage agency relationships and recruitment vendors to maximize investments.
  • Develop and deliver on diversity recruiting strategies to increase diversity performance.
  • Build relationships with diverse sources of talent through community outreach and partnerships.
  • Evaluate processes related to OFCCP compliance and plan for policy changes.
  • Educate internal partners on best practices in sourcing and interviewing.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Employment law and general HR principles, including OFCCP compliance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook, as well as a computerized applicant tracking system.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruiting processes and sourcing strategies.
  • Project and Process Management Skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and influence with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • AIRS recruitment and AIRS Diversity certification preferred.
