The Dishwasher position at Bob Evans Restaurants is essential for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring that clean dishes are readily available for service. Responsibilities

• Maintain the dish tank area and ensure clean dishes are available for service.
• Follow food safety guidelines for washing, drying, and storing dishware and utensils.
• Remove cardboard and grease, and maintain cleanliness of the parking lot.
• Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of property around the restaurant (foyer, front porch, sidewalk, etc.).
• Empty trash from designated areas throughout the shift.
• Work with other staff to ensure 100% guest satisfaction regarding dining room cleanliness.
• Assist in other job categories as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of related experience in a restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant setting.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for extended periods.
• Strong menu knowledge and ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets.

Nice-to-haves

• General knowledge of commercial dishwashing is preferred but not required.
