About the position
The Distribution Clerk position at EssilorLuxottica involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, primarily responsible for picking, packing, and shipping optical products such as frames, lenses, and contact lenses. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to meet production goals while maintaining high accuracy in inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Pick product (optical frames, lenses, and contact lenses) and put them into boxes for shipping.
- Replace inventory as needed.
- Put lenses in correct inventory locations and rotate stock during receiving/put away tasks.
- Pick orders for customers and branches during order selection.
- Inform managers, supervisors, or coordinators of stock-outs.
- Verify orders and correct discrepancies during shipping.
- Box orders in correct containers with appropriate documentation and apply address labels.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Effective communication skills to interact with managers and peers.
- Ability to meet and exceed production goals.
- Experience with RF devices (scanners) is a plus.
- Basic reading and mathematics skills.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in work assignments.
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member and participate in team meetings.
