Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Implement individualized care plans and support goals for each resident.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Document daily activities, observations, and incidents accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Experience or education in social work, caregiving, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care, memory care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Familiarity with resident rights and regulations in assisted living settings.
• Ability to administer medication according to established protocols.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with diverse needs.
