About the position
The Early Childhood Instructional Coach will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of early childhood education at BT Washington Elementary School. This position focuses on providing instructional leadership and coaching to educators, ensuring the implementation of developmentally appropriate practices and compliance with federal regulations. The coach will work collaboratively with teachers to improve teaching strategies and student outcomes, leveraging technology to differentiate learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional leadership and coaching to early childhood educators.
- Facilitate teacher and student groups to promote positive student outcomes.
- Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences for students.
- Support the implementation of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education.
- Collaborate with educators to improve teaching strategies and instructional practices.
Requirements
- Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) Teaching Level II license with Master's Degree; or National Board Certification; or Level III.
- Five years of demonstrated knowledge, skills and teaching success.
- Knowledge of early childhood education and special education regulations (IDEA 619 Part B).
- Evidence of instructional leadership and coaching experience.
- Experience working in Early Childhood programs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
