Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting various echocardiography procedures.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and hemodynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and providing high-quality care.

• BLS Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive echocardiographic examinations, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography.
• Prepare patients for echocardiography procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Operate and maintain advanced echocardiography equipment, adjusting settings to produce optimal images.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting procedures thoroughly.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in echocardiography technology and best practices through continuous education.
