About the position

The Eligibility Training Specialist position at Regal Medical Group is responsible for developing and conducting training programs for the Eligibility Department. The role aims to ensure optimal member implementation and customer satisfaction by creating training materials and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity among eligibility coordinators.

Responsibilities

  • Develop teaching aids, including manuals, written exercises, and presentation slides for eligibility coordinators.
  • Work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines regarding member medical information and privacy.
  • Display professionalism, good judgment, maturity, and fairness in interactions.
  • Prioritize assignments and maintain workflow by auditing reports and other work functions.
  • Maintain or exceed quality and productivity standards for the Eligibility Coordinator role.
  • Audit and maintain accuracy of the database.
  • Respond timely to eligibility inquiries.
  • Generate accurate management reports.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

  • College education.
  • Working knowledge of standard practices in a medical/healthcare setting.
  • At least 2 years of previous supervisory experience or lead position in a medical/healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience with EZ-Cap eligibility system.
  • Knowledge of health plans' member eligibility and enrollment processes.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Word and Excel.
