About The Position

The Entry Level Contract Billing Specialist position at a well-established architectural millwork company involves supporting the accounting department by monitoring project progress to ensure accurate billing and efficient payment collection. This role is designed for individuals looking to develop their skills in project accounting within the millwork industry, with one-on-one training provided to help them understand essential tasks.

Requirements

• Minimal experience with Lien waivers, AIA, SOV preferred but not required
• Possess a positive and professional attitude
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Detail oriented with strong organizational habits
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with MS Office suite

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instruction on how to prepare monthly AIA G702/G703 schedules, Lien waivers, SOV, Stored Materials
• Assist Project Accountants with coordinating online billing portals (i.e. Textura, GC Pay, etc.)
• Effectively communicate with Project Managers (PM) regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional service-related to billing.
• Follow-up with PM to ensure project information is processed in a timely manner.
• Assist with facilitating subcontract administration, subcontractor contract processing, change order processing.
• Support Project Accountants with subcontractor compliance relative to payment requisitions and lien releases, COI tracking.
• Continuous Learning and development in order.
